I live on the Ia/Ill boarder. This story was on the local news last night and according to that source, the number of missing is not abnormal.
Most of the children listed are run aways that return within 24 hrs.
The media is not/will not report on that.
Hard to spin a kid returning home as a SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG story to prey on peoples emotions.

Not even popped up in google news feed. SEX TRAFFICKING RING in operation is the most likely reason. Given the ages, and 18 or 20 are Adults not children.
Media seems to forget that fact. So when they disappear different laws for reporting are used.
