Yup. When I was younger watching Cecil B Demille’s “The Bible”, I thought the scenes about Sodom before its destruction was over the top. I mean, they couldn’t have been that bad! Now those scenes are presented to us daily all over the world. I do pray for their conversion but sadly I don’t think many of them want to be saved.
I guess that’s the source of the Waco Kid’s quote that he “must have killed more men than Cecil B Demille”.
Well, take a look at Revelation and the seven last plagues that those who take on the mark of the Beast are to be afflicted with; utter refusal to repent right up to the bitter end no matter how bad it gets for them. And Jesus said that it’ll be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah than for Capernaum of His day; how much worse for these people?
