I don’t know how the NBA compares to the NFL, but several years ago I went to a Vikings game-great seats, so we were close to the field. I was shocked at the cheerleaders’ moves. Not much cheering, but a great deal of what I assume are stripper moves.
I was glad my kids were not with us!
isn’t that why they are on the sidelines??? They could “cheer” for the team wearing more clothes and still get the job done.
Those lack of outfits were carefully chosen.

NBA and NFL have cheerleaders because the offense has control of the ball and it is so easy to score in those sports, even though the best players on earth are playing the game. Cheerleaders work best for scoring. Scoring is hard in baseball.
