WASHINGTON National Right to Life has endorsed pro-life Rep. Jim Renacci in Ohios U.S. Senate election. Renacci faces pro-abortion Senator Sherrod Brown on the November 6 ballot.
National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Jim Renacci, whose position on life reflects the true values of Ohios voters, said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president. There is a stark contrast between Jim Renacci, who supports legal protection for unborn children, and Sherrod Brown, who supports abortion for any reason until birth.
Renacci co-sponsored and voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act legislation to protect unborn children by prohibiting abortion at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.
Renacci is challenging Sen. Sherrod Brown (D), who is supported by the extreme pro-abortion group NARAL Pro-Choice America, and by the nations largest abortion provider Planned Parenthood. Brown has voted against the pro-life position on abortion every chance he had for decades. He voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
Brown supports using tax dollars to pay for abortion. Brown supports giving hundreds of millions of dollars of government funds to the nations largest abortion provider. Brown even cosponsored S. 510, legislation that would invalidate nearly every state and federal limit on abortion.
Rep. Renaccis pro-life record contrasts greatly with Browns. Jim Renacci opposes abortion on demand, and he opposes using tax dollars to pay for abortion.
So far he’s running a piss poor campaign against a total waste of a senator. They’re making him out to look like an idiot, and I can’t see any retaliation. This will be an enormous hurdle to overcome if the Stupid Party doesn’t get off their dead ass and start fighting back.
I am in Ohio and totally agree. Brown’s commercials have been running for months and they are pretty strong with no reply from Renacci. Not looking good.
Sounds like Trump can’t help him. Will he go to bat for someone with no fight in him?
I would love for Trump to come and have a rally in Ohio. It may be the only thing that can bring some attention to this race. Ohio voters tend to be low info (IMHO) and tend to vote like it’s a popularity contest. If Renacci would get out there and make his name known it would sure help.
