Waymo vehicles will transport customers to and from Walmart to pick up their groceries.

Why would they not just use the waymo to deliver the groceries?

I was just about to post the exact same thing when I glanced at your post! All the use cases make lots of sense except that one. It strikes me as particularly dumb.

UNLESS, people who cannot drive want to go enjoy the freak show at Wally Mart, either as spectator or participant...

I think eventually they will.

Walmart is supposed to start delivering this year, but it’s a different project than Waymo.
