Putin says he's 'ready to go to Washington' and invites Trump to MOSCOW in latest volley over a second high-stakes summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin says has invited President Donald Trump to visit him in Moscow and also said he is ready to go to the White House.

Putin told reporters in South Africa that phone calls were not sufficient, and the two men needed to talk about the Iran nuclear deal and other topics.

In one way, Donald Trump’s presidency may have begun with Friday’s really strong report on second-quarter gross domestic product.

On the other hand, the beginning of Trump’s end may have sounded with Thursday night’s news that his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen is ready to tell investigators Trump knew in advance about the June 9, 2016 meeting where Russian henchmen pitched the Trump campaign on sharing information we now know was stolen from computers of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and other Democratic Party grandees.

So which will we remember?
