Firing of Comey, signing of FISA warrant - how on earth to explain? Wonderland?
All sorts of possibilities. The bad guys need to have positions of power, and being in charge of the FBI and more, as DAG is, is significant power.
The fact pattern that really intrigues me is the close timing between Mueller meeting with Trump, and then being appointed SC. I don;t think Mueller is purposefully or knowingly running a honey pot. IOW, I think Mueller is dirty through and through, as is Comey.
Back to RR ... if he wants to keep his job, he has no choice but to recommend firing Comey, when he is confronted with the fact that Comey usurped the role of AG in exonerating Hillary, and said he would do it again. I think the words in the "fire Comey" memo were RR's, but I think the push to "do it" and the reasons came to RR in a metting with Sessions and Trump. sessions would point out what Comey did, and ask what was RR going to do about it. RR fires Comey, and in RR's mind, thius buys him credibility with his adversaries Sessions and Trump.
