The negative effects of the Pill can hardly be underestimated. Liberals used to be worried about conservative Christians having most of the kids and raising them in the ways they should do as converted children of God, but those fears were sadly exaggerated.
I advise that if you are going to marry, have as many kids as the Lord will give you if a lifestyle of temperance. They may grow up poorer, but then they can better learn how to share and interact than in the only child, often spoiled households, who are often fearful of life, and foster a snowflake society. My opinion.
