The media seems awfully obsessed about a bunch of former government workers who are now civilians losing their security clearances that they no longer need since they are not in jobs requiring security clearances. It seems like everybody should lose security clearances when they no longer need them, so that there aren’t as many people who can steal information and leak it.
But really — I feel like several important, big things happened in the past day, and they thought that 5 questions about security clearances was the best way to use their time? Not ONE question about the plan to pay off farmers with taxpayer dollars?
