Wow. We're killing ourselves with worthless, nutritionally empty processed foods. There was an article several years ago re: the popularity of Flamin' Hot Cheetos among teens. There was serious talk of the ingredients containing something addictive.

I have read about what the food companies do to formulate addictive food, make people reach the “bliss point”, and crave more. It’s a whole industry, with some companies who do nothing more than develop artificial flavors to accomplish this. It’s scary stuff.
