A Massachusetts man was arrested after police said he stripped down inside a Planet Fitness in Plaistow.
Police said Eric Stagno, 34, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, walked into the gym and removed his clothing. He walked back and forth a couple times before settling in on the yoga mats.
When officers arrived, they found him completely nude in a "yoga-type position."
"Well I just moved out here, so this is a 'Live Free or Die' state, so anything's free," gym member Doug Wilson said.
"To me, it's like, 'What did you smoke before you came to the gym?'" gym member Kat Lancaster said. "No, I don't think you should be at the gym naked."
Stagno, who is not a member of the gym, was arrested without incident and was charged with indecent exposure/lewdness and disorderly conduct.
"That's not right at all. Why would you do that? People are uncomfortable. Make you uncomfortable. That's weird," gym member Tony Nachef said.
Police said the only statement Stagno made was that he thought Planet Fitness was a judgment-free zone," apparently referencing the chains slogan.
"It's a judgment-free zone, right? That's what he said, right?" gym member April Story said.
Stagno was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 21.
Maybe the guy was just making a point of how stupid the gym’s slogan - “no judgment zone” - is.
But, at least, the arrest of this Jay-bird tells me they haven't sunk to the low standards of San Fransicko. Yet.
Planet Fitness had used its slogan years earlier; I remember its simultaneous use of the "lunk alarm," which exists to judge.

Thank you both for posting that!
This is how “tolerant” Planet Fitness” was back in 2014

He should have gone to Brooklyn.

Gross. Aside from the nasty hair, look at his sunken eyes.
