The United States was born in a revolt against the tyranny of King George III. The Constitution was designed to prevent tyranny through a system of checks and balances, but in President Trump's America, those safeguards are failing.
Donald Trump holds the grandiose belief that only he should rule America. Unchecked by cowed or complicit Republicans in Congress, Trump invokes executive authority to alter policies and practices long established by law and treaty.
Days after his summit meeting with Vladimir Putin, no one knows what the two autocrats agreed to, or even talked about -- not the President's top aides, nor the Pentagon, nor security establishment or Congress, never mind the rest of us. And in the midst of the ensuing uproar, Trump has invited Putin to Washington, without telling his top intelligence official and no doubt most other key aides and officials.

It’s fascinating what the author regards as “tyranny”. From the article, tyranny appears to be the legal use of executive orders to reverse the executive orders of the previous administration. It’s not tyranny when their guy does it.

Jeffrey Sachs is a heavily UN connected Globalist academic. He sees the UN and Globalist organizations as the path to end global poverty. He actually initially supported Trump. That did not last long. The hate Trump crowd are driven by the Globalist agenda. They don't all admit it, but the cheer with glee any time the US is "punished" for success.
Tyranny is when an alliance between opposition politicians and media propagandists attempts to overturn the will of he voters.

Sometimes I read this pap and substitute “Obama” for “Trump” just to get an idea of what it would have sounded like had the MSM been truthful in those days.

And he’s doing it by cleverly putting judges on the Supreme Court who believe in a smaller, limited government, and constitutional restraints. Clever.
