To: Envisioning

Several years ago the Dallas jury I sat on sent just such a “teen” away for 60 years (eligible for parole after 30). His wreck of a Momma and sister did the cliche caterwauling as he was sentenced, had to be removed. He sat there like a bump on a log.

Police work was impeccable; DNA and fellow criminal associate confirmed his presence at crime scene. Multiple victims of his other robberies recounted their horrors during sentencing phase.

No drama for the jury to convict, only we would not give him life as the prosecutor had requested.
