ONLY real problem here is if it was his seatmates cup and he put it back where he found it.

It was in the back of the plane, in the galley, in line for the aft bathrooms. The stewardesses freaked-out!

BUT I would imagine the Stew would rather have a cup to throw away than having him go in a corner where he/she had to clean it up OR him just trying to ‘hide’ his actions.
