Rogers term as head of NSA began April 13, 2014. He was appointed to that post by Obama, not VSGPDJT, but the GE did keep him on, unlike all other Obama holdovers.
It is widely believed that Rogers, who made a trip to visit Trump in NYC shortly after the election, was the one who told him he was being "wiretapped". The day after the visit Trump relocated his team from Trump Tower to one of his properties in New Jersey.
He left the NSA on May 4, 2018 as part of planned elevation ceremony for several other Navy officers, and retired on June 1, 2018.
His Naval career began with the Navy ROTC and he entered full time service in 1981, after graduation from Auburn University. 37 years is way past the full pension milestone.
Trump's replacement is this guy:
Paul M Nakasone, 4 star general, U.S. Army.
.
Thanks for clarity and now Ill ask again, is NSA back on the side of the good guys?
