And Jimmy Stewart was certainly the real deal.The stories of him flying combat missions called for some real stones.Flying an unarmed B-24 formation ship over the european mainland to fill out a box was something else.A mans man for sure.

I believe Jimmy Stewart became a general.......and received numerous military honors.He hosted an orientation film in uniform in my Air Force Basic Training. One of those things where he made sure we knew that in spite of what we had seen in the movies he was General Stewart and we had just walked into a new reality.
