I used to work in a place where one of the night shift janitors was a young black guy who drove a Miata with a “Confederate” flag for the front license plate. (Massachusetts was a rear license plate only state at that time.) “Confederate” in quotes, because it was the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia, not the Confederate national flag.

Yep. I used to have a rebel flag license plate and a horn that played Dixie on my 79 Jeep Wrangler. 😀
