I’ve flown non-rev some. Relative works for an airline.
Sport coat used to be the minimum dress. Slacks and sport shirt ok now.
The way it was explained to me was, Non-revs are company representatives, real or perceived and should dress accordingly.
This witch was correctly refused, and the more she objects the less likely she will get on a ride.

Shes getting a free ride but is a victim because they wont let on because the clothes shes wearing look like she got them from a dumpster and is abusive to the staff. Got it👍. Whatever happen to The Reverend Jackson he is needed in cases like this one

FWIW, in the Navy we have a civilian dress code we have to abide by when we visit foreign countries, typically a collared shirt and at a minimum, Dockers. It's for the same reason.
