At one point, that was on my list of retirement "locations". The glitch in the problem is that I know too much about boat/ship maintenance and repair costs. OTOH, what
could work is to buy a house on/near the intracoastal waterway and spend most of your summer slowly touring the coast, with an occasional jaunt out to the Bahamas.
On the third hand....now that I have discovered flying, my plan is to build a small plane and spend most days in the air......
