I played Lacrosse in high school/academy and even got a scholarship for a D2 school. The only reason why i played it was that i had the hots for the coach’s daughter and wanted to impress her.

I picked up guitar in high school to impress a girl. It didn't work, but it has led to a lifetime of enjoyment. Coincidentally, the girl wound up going to college at the University of North Carolina. I went to visit her there one weekend in the hope I could finally make some progress. When I got there I found her sitting on the knee of the star quarterback of the team, whom I learned she was dating. Story of my life. :-)
Oops, I should have read to the end of the thread before posting. Glad it worked, although perhaps there should be a precise definition of the word "worked." :-)
