I keep getting this strange suspicion that Trump is trolling the press.

I can't figure out his motive for doing so, but his experience with the press and the never-Trumpers and their willingness to jump on every opportunity to lambaste him has certainly prepared him for this.

He knew going into the summit with Putin that his enemies would sift every detail looking for an error.

Yet given all that, he delivered to his enemies a big present with a yuge ribbon on top.

That just seems out of character unless he has an ulterior motive.

I call the press "The Media Death Star", after the Death Star from the movie Star Wars.

They park over their target and destroy it with their main weapon.

President Trump understands that for us to be free, the Media Death Star must be destroyed.

I've known this for years.
