I agree, and as such, he was a target for leftists from the beginning. I’m not familiar with Wylie. I just glanced at his bio, and he sounds interesting, if not a bit catastrophically inclined. I’m not big on dystopian views in general.

I am an avid audiobook fan these days, since I have limited time for reading, and I’ve been extremely displeased by most modern “sci-go.” Not only is it composed of Leftist tropes, it has no scientific basis. Half are poor morality plays and the majority of others are compilations of gratuitous perversion.

I like Neil Stephenson, Steven Baxter, Michio Kaku, Dan Simmons, Kim Stanley Robinson, Greg Bear, Greg Egan and a few dozen more.
