If I'm calculating correctly, 100 Billion British Pounds in gold, at today's prices, is around 3600 tons.

Seems excessive. I think there's a few extra zeroes.

That would be about 120 cargo containers at 30 tons per. Gold is much more dense, but cranes might not be able to handle more than that at once

Seems way too much to pay a fleet. Somebody blew the amount by a couple orders of magnitude.
