all the little abandoned Tooties need good homes
Reminds me of some barn cats we raised from kittens after their mommy went missing. We fed them with syringes full of milk and kept them in baskets in the kitchen until they learned how to walk.
That is a good and compassionate man. Lucky kitty!
Why’s this screen so blurry all of a sudden?
I’ll take it. No questions asked. They give you genuine love forever.
Lucky little cat - good to see an instance of kindness in the world. I saw some idiotic article a few weeks ago that said dogs are a man’s pet, while cats are a woman’s pet. I’ve owned and loved both, but a cat was the perfect pet when I was a young, single guy - very low maintenance, just throw out the kitty litter once a week and keep their food and water bowls filled. If you want to go somewhere for a long weekend, the cat will be fine by itself and you won’t come back to your apartment or house trashed. Try that with a dog. Dogs are absolutely terrific, but definitely require more work and attention - better pets for when you have a family to help split the workload.
Awwww..so sweet.
A young feral has found his way to my back porch. I wish he’d come at the kitten stage like this little guy. He’ll talk to me, and he allows me to feed him, but that’s it.
Thank you for the morning heart melt. Those pictures, what a doll. And THAT is a real man!
Reminds me of a little waif the wife and I rescued. We call her “Peanut’’ because she’s so little. About three years ago Peanut showed up at out back door with her right hind leg busted clean in two. The poor thing was just about the age of this little one. We took her to the vet and a splint was put on her leg hoping the bone would fuse back together. It didn’t and her leg had to be amputated. Hasn’t slowed Peanut down though. She runs through the house like a tornado. Just loves to play.
Awwww...we have a special needs kitty...I call him our “downs baby kitty”...he must have been the runt, plus ended up with feral blood...would hide from us in the house (indoor cat only) we adopted him after he spent @6 months in cat shelter...thought he would improve. He didnt. Vet finally said let’s let him have a halfway decent life...sooo..we give him prozac and lorazepam everyday. My husband can now pick him up and the drugs have given him some “joy.” He still hates me, but isn’t as scared as in past. He’s our little project.
It looks just like my little Louie. Rescued him from a dairy and bottle fed him. Louie even loves to cuddle the same way but nuzzling my chin whiskers.
We had a feral kitten arrive on our deck about two years ago. We didn’t want a cat so we ignored him. He was persistent and wouldn’t leave. He now spends his nights in bed with us.
Kept the smallest girl, who only weighed 1 pound when the rest were 2 pounds or so. I just worried too much about how small she was. She is still small, only about 7 pounds now at 2 years old. Sweetest girl in the world.
So sweet.
A very heartwarming story, thanks.
Thanks so much for posting this vannrox!
PING to a couple of kitteh ladies!
Radu and Luvvy-come fall in love with this little baby!
Soon he’ll be old enough to go outside and kill 1000 birds and ignore you as soon as you walk in the door after a long day. Of course only paying attention to you to get fed.
I freaking hate cats.
My heart is melting, what a sweet story!
