We did the DragonCon thing from the late 90s until the early 00s.

Mostly it was to meet the actors, watch the nice costumes, and get a few autographs.

I got burned out on the experience.

We met a lot of neat people.

Peter Jurasik remembered us each time. Nice fellow.

My daughter got to hug Stan Lee. She caught him off guard when he was leaving a restroom. Caught his security detail off guard as well. She has met so many folks and I rarely have heard of them. There is this one guy who use to remember her. I think he was in the Buffy series.

One thing she says is that she is surprised at how old a lot of the actors look in person.

She also would get hit on A LOT! She had a mean girlfriend she would go with and my daughter is mean as well. She was mistaken as a groupie on many an occasion by some celebrity guests. She was always polite when she declined their advances.
