I had a ticket for Comic Con this week, had reserved a hard-to-get hotel room, but not yet a plane ticket - then realized that the hotel alone would cost me almost as much as ten days in London. So London here I go (again). Ive been to SDCC a few times when I lived near LA. The parking, the crowds (130,000 people in a five block long building), the massive lines and miles of walking up and down those exhibit hall aisles no thanks.
I know my daughter quit going for similar reasons. I guess it was fun before it got too popular. She hates posers.
