Trump ignored staff advice before press conference with Putin
President Donald Trump did the opposite of what his staff recommended ahead of his joint presser with Vladimir Putin, ignoring most of about 100 pages of briefing materials outlining a tough stance toward the Russian strongman, according to a report.
Trumps remarks during the 46-minute news conference in Helsinki, where he expressed skepticism about the US intelligence communitys findings that Russia meddled in the 2016 election, were very much counter to the plan, a source told the Washington Post.

His presser was way cool with me! Where is illary’s 30K emails? The DNC server? How come illary and her cabal all got walking papers no matter the crimes? USIntel/DOJ/NSA/FBLie all seem to be inept and corrupt!
It’s insanity, shows how delusional, hate-filled, and stupid they are.
Reagan ignored State Dept wennies right up to the ride to the Brandenberg Gate as they were telling him not to say, “tear down this wall”.
How does the media get these insights?
Yes, as Trump said during the press questions after the summit yesterday, in regard to having the summit on the heals of Mueller’s indictments of the 12 Russians:
I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics.
Trump knew he was taking a political risk having the summit. He thought the summit was more important than that personal political risk.
I can agree that Trump on too many occasions makes errors in speech in ways that are not true to his thoughts, becuase his style has NEVER been to stop and consider his words carefully every time before he speaks.
That does make for gaffs, which is different than the total manipulation and calculation of their words, that the best political liers do every time - like Obama.
“according to a report” = very fake news = no point in reading past that OR making a serious comment here ...
