FBN’s Regan: Trump ‘Should Have Defended Us’ – ‘Unpatriotic’
Breitbart ^ | July 17, 2018 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 07/17/2018 9:24:39 AM PDT by conservative98

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Intelligence Report,” host Trish Regan criticized President Trump’s statements after his summit with Vladimir Putin, arguing Trump, “should have defended us. He should have defended his own intelligence community.” She later added on Twitter, “Unpatriotic. Don’t let a bully bully you on the international stage. POTUS should have defended us.”

They are remnants and POTUS has no inputs to that layer of employment.

Huh. And here I thought all along that the President got to appoint the leaders of those agencies.

You can bring up Comey and Brennan but what about Pompeo, Coates, Wray, Rosenstein and all of the other heads Trump appointed who share in the IC's assessment?

Or is it that no true Scotsman doubts DJT?

Distinction without a difference.

I think I see your problem.

I realize that you may not care but I want the members of the IC loyal to the country, not to the President.

Comey was a deputy. Not appointed by POTUS. Oh, and he no longer serves.
Brennnan WAS CIA and left before Trump’s inauguration.
Pompeo is SecState, not IC.
Rosenstein is a deputy. Not appointed by POTUS.

Coats is appointed by POTUS and Trump has every right to disagree with him.
Wray is appointed by POTUS and Trump has every right to disagree with him.

I do not have a problem. You are trying to make a distinction about verbiage where none exists.

I realize that you may not care but I want the members of the IC loyal to the country, not to the President.

Who says I do not care. The products the IC create go into the POTUS daily intel briefing. We work FOR the President. This does not mean our loyalty is to a person other than our oath that states we will faithfully discharge the duties of our office, which includes obeying the lawful orders of the President and those appointed over us.

You know the Democrat directed media are Wiley E Coyote to Trump’s Roadrunner.

Since July 2015, we been treated to this endless hysterics in the DNC directed “News Media” about “getting Trump” and every single time, their master plan blows up in their face.

Really?

Then how do you explain the DOCUMENTED WIDE SPREAD political corruption in the IC that was used to manufacture an excuse spy on Candidate Trump and used to justify a fraudulent “special council” investigation run by Clinton cronies?

Were you all “upholding your oaths” when you knowing subverted the Democratic, and legal, process in a vain attempt to undermined the duly elected President of the USA?

In the IC you say?

Comey was Director of the FBI.

Pompeo was Director of CIA before being SoS.

Deputy Directors of the Justice Department are appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.

Of course Trump can disagree with any of them but you said they’re criminals and should be prosecuted.

My question is why did he appoint such dodgy people?

Who says I do not care.

I meant you might not care what I thought.

I have no reason to question your commitment to the country.

Oh, honey.

I listened to Trump's press conference. He was talking about things like nuclear war, Syria, etc.

I'm not worried about so-called Russian interference in the election...I'm really worried about DOJ/FBI interference in the election. And, let's not forget the IRS, etc...

So why don't you run along, make us some sammiches and let the adults talk?

Heh, I know...I took a gratuitous shot at the woman for the text of what she said, mostly because people like her want so badly to be taken seriously without concern for what she says or does.

I have never seen her before today and never heard her at all, so after I read your post I went to watch the video, and...

She looks physically more interesting in the still photo on the thread.

Then I listened to her, and while I was neutral on her voice, I still took exception to the content of what she said, that Trump should have taken defended the very arms of government that have conspired to destroy him.

Yep, in alternative universe, that should have happened.

No idea. Would be a good question to ask him.

Ask the President

Because people are hired, not ideology. The cabal that you mention are involved with the very people you indicated: The Clinton's.

Were you all “upholding your oaths” when you knowing subverted the Democratic, and legal, process in a vain attempt to undermined the duly elected President of the USA?

"you all"? Not all of us fall into your accusation frag pattern. Some did and should be ferretted out.

The President relied on the advice of a who’s-who of the country’s most prestigious law firms for DOJ appointees.

Even a billionaire can’t be expert on everything, and must rely on those thought to be ‘experts’.

I recall Trump boasting about his ability to pick talent.

Besides DOJ, what other appointments did he outsource?
