The Shroud of Turin, as with any holy relic, is supposed to facilitate the Christian’s interaction with God. Its contemplation can help one contemplate the suffering of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins.
Why not read His Word giving the account of His "trial", the beatings, the crucifixion....or pray to Him?
