I agree. I think most if not all of the screaming and outrage we hear is from foreigners. Whether legal, illegal, or seditious Americans-in-name-only, there are too many foreigners “meddling” with “our democracy”.
The dirt under our feet doesn't make America what it is.
Our founding and caudified principles and shared beliefs in those thing do.
Without those common beliefs and values, you cannot be an American, now or ever. Being born on the dirt is not the defining factor. Nor is a piece of paper issued to you by the Government.
Some people use the word assimilation, and there are many people who were born here who are not assimilated.
Notice that "assimiliation" is a dirty word (among many) to the un-Americans among us.
