Part tuplip, part reality. Cryptocurrency is here to stay, but like everything else, there are more people wanting to make a quick buck than there are serious people actually producing within the ecosystem. I admit to knowing very little about the whole phenomenon, but it’s an interesting article, especially the point that ROK’s near 10% unemployment is what drove the craze, i.e. a bunch of young, smart people with not enough to do. Sounds like the day-trading craze in the early 90s.

pretty much. but the different generations there get affected to one degree or another sooner or late, depending upon the particular scam. it’s kind of amazing to watch these scam fads sweep that nation, leaving behind penniless millions in each wake... the weird thing is that they never seem to learn, always believing in the next magic get-rich-quick scheme.
