I am sorry you got such an unpleasant response from your Bible study group. Prayers for you and for them.
I have a suggestion of something to contemplate from an unimpeachable source: Nehemiah 6 (whole chapter).
Take a look and see if Nehemiah’s efforts to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, and his enemies’ ploys to stop him, don’t have an amazing parallel with our favorite POTUS.
Even down to the FAKE NEWS, which reads ridiculously similar to Comey’s meeting with PDJT to try and intimidate him with the Steele Dossier!
