My money says few if any could even tell the difference between a Mohave and a Western Diamondback.
It was in that area where I was collecting Mohaves for the study. My business was in Adelonto and I lived in Apple Valley at the time. That was mid 70’s, went back out about 10 years ago and was amazed how much that area had changed.

Yep ..... lots of old cowboy history there . Big fires this year almost destroyed his place . Firefighters and aerial retardant drops were making sure it was not gonna burn down. Palo Duro canyon is a gem.
Cant argue with that.
But, this area has a very good population of them and that is one thing nobody can argue.

Yep George AFB is closed now. I was stationed there from May 1969 to Mar 1973. Hooterville California. Lived in Hesperia..
Yea it really changed after they put in the lake..
