Recall started June 14th. Why is this all over the enemedia now? Someone screwing with the stock price?
"...Kelloggs Honey Smacks..."
There are a lot of reasons not to eat Honey Smacks cereal, even without the salmonella consideration. Very unhealthy stuff.
Boil your Honey Smacks five minutes before eating.
Half of all chickens we eat have this, dont they? It is a problem primarily for compromised immune systems.
Who cant use a thorough intestinal cleaning, anyway?
I was wondering why my cereal turned black.
Breakfast cereals are simply diabetes in a box.
Most likely source is employees
From Kelloggs site...” In fact, most of our products sold in the U.S. are also made in the U.S., with some exceptions....”
Salmonella is only a problem if your stomach acid is weak. Eating huge meals, taking antacid medications, being an infant, being really old.....
The worst thing you can do for your health is take medications.
The best prescription: “Eat less, do more.”
When I was a kid, these things were called Sugar Smacks.
?
The Bear cereal tastes better than the Frog
Salmonella in a kid’s cereal? That’s very scary stuff.
Some personal irony. I love Kellogg’s Honey Smacks. But I stopped eating them a while ago because they were always kind of moist. Never dry. I thought it was likely to get some kind of bacteria grown in that humidity.
Then I stopped eating sugary cereals altogether. Except Raisin Bran. And Honey Nut Cheerios. :-)

Years ago we bought some Super Sugar Crisp on Sanibel Island Florida. Got back to our Condo, opened it up at the table and a billion ants and bugs crawled outta that box.
We called it, Super ant crisp!
