She seems a bit fragile these days. I would guess her marriage isn’t in good shape AND she has no job anymore. I really hope she tells the truth and is actually sorry, unlike her smug pig of a paramour.

Sudden hospital admissions seem to be the prerequisite ploy for Philippine politicians under investigation. The more serious the charge, the more severe the symptoms. A president (maybe it was former, at the time) even had a neck brace installed.
It came on and off as the investigative conditions dictated.
