Well, to be fair, connecting them to school shooters is like connecting a casual marijuana user to meth.
Most grown men can tell you about the time they shot a robin or tor the legs off a spider, or any number of things they did to some aninal. Fortunately, most of us learned from it. It would be sad if we were entering a world where every one of us ended up with the grief these poor kids are going to end up with.
BTW, I grew up in King county Washington. It was a common practice to put cats in a burlap bag, tie the top off and go to the Black Diamond bridge over the green river and throw the bag into the river about a hundred yards below. I never did it, but a lot of people did. None of them shot up schools. Not a one. They grew up.
I remember stunning honeybees with a swatter and then putting them in the still hot bar-b-que coals a couple of times - didn’t like them because they were everywhere and I got stung a lot stepping on clover patches in the yard.
Now I love bees,but hardly see any. We don’t mow the clover or dandelions and want to have a hive in the backyard.
