Interesting observation here... I think.
Notice that there are only two/three iOS versions listed. Maybe because Apple has a habit of dumping support for older OSs along with the expensive phones... so that we, consumers are forced to upgrade every couple of years.
Call me jaded but this is my personal experience with Apple.

What I think is most interesting about those stats is that even with IOS being just a quarter of the total, Apple makes more money from iPhones than the rest combined.Also, technically, Android is a variant of Linux.
