It’s a classic romantic film that has inspired generations of young people to come to NYC to try and make it in their career of choice. It has inspired fashion - thanks to Audrey - for generations as well. Not only that, it is a wonderful comedy-drama with poignant sequences involving Buddy Ebsen and funny sequences as well - the wonderful party scene - that shows the director Blake Edwards at his gag-meister best.
