Speaking of Partridge Family, my first crush was on Susan Dey. When I was about 10, I actually wrote a letter to Rueben Kincaid, asking to be put in the band. I said that I was a way better drummer than Chris. For a while, I fully expected the Partridge Family bus to pull up to my house and take me away.

As for my letter to Reuben Kincaid, do you know what the response was? A 6x9 glossy photo of David Cassidy and an invitation to join the Partridge Family fan club. Yuck!
