Hollywood star George Clooney has been injured in a road incident in Sardinia, Italy, local media report. He was driving his motorbike when he collided with a car. The accident took place near the beach resort of Costa Corallina, local Tgr Rai Sardegna channel wrote on Twitter.
It’s been identified as a Yamaha. Same one he’s been photographed on before. Bike guys could ID it.
I hope the driver of the car is ok.
I’m sorry to hear about his injury and hope he recovers fully. I’m always surprised that there aren’t thousands of motor bike collisions in European cities every year. They zip in and out of traffic and the roads are so chaotic.
Any damage to the car?
Winning! It never gets old!
I hope he fully recovers and wonders how he would feel if the person who he collided with was doing something illegal when the accident ocurred...and shouldn’t have been there.
Has George opened up his property to illegal invaders yet? If not, why not?
You ever hear the joke about Jon Cary and George Clooney went on a bike ride?
I sure hope this doesn’t discourage him from continuing to ride! No need for a helmet either George.
Yes it is. You can see the Yamaha "triple tuning fork" emblem (Yamaha started with manufacturing pianos) on the trunk in Post #16. Not enough info from the rear shot for me to tell the model.
It doesn't really look that bad, if they can still prop up the bike on the stand.
Excellent
yea....the Harley would have broken down even before he got to the intersection.
He has a large collection of classic bikes, and is known to favor H-Ds when in California.
“Stupida fahking actor.”
Would have been better if he had been hit by an illegal.
They get away with hit and run’s here in California all the time.
