I’ll take all the sexist/misogynist brickbats....women on the court are too often ruled by emotion and ridiculous worst case hypotheticals and are swayed by such arguments.
I am really getting sick of some FReepers trying to draw a line from one point.
Brickbat #2: Bell curves do not apply here.
Brickbat #3: Earl Warren.
Brickbat #4 - #n: William Alsup, Stephen Reinhard, Alfred Goodwin, and the rest of the clowns of the Ninth Circus Court. The number of *men* in the Federal Judiciary ruled by emotion, confident unexamined bias, and supremely dictatorial ideology, would be too long to conveniently list here.
How about selecting judges "not by the the shape of their sexual anatomy, but by the content of their character"?
Radical, I know.
Only 1 woman has been picked by a republican. Reagan of all people, but didnt he have a democratic senate at the time? He was going to get a top notch candidate like this gem in those situations.
Quite frankly the men have been the flip flopping emotional wreck.
