I was talking to someone who said Trump is Hitler. I asked her to explain, give some reasons for that opinion. She exclaimed it’s obvious Trump is like Hitler, and if I can’t see that, then there is no possible way I could understand her explanation.
So there’s one opinion. We are too stupid lacking in intelligence and reasoning ability, if we don’t see Trump as Hitler. So there’s no way they can explain it to us, given their superior intellect.
And they’re the ones acting like the Nazis, treating Trump supporters like the Jews. Wearing a MAGA hat today in leftist sewerholes like New York city is akin to wearing a Jewish star in 1930s Germany. They’ll spit on you, push you, punch you, I would like to see if they would do that to an old man wearing a MAGA hat. Let history capture what these scumbags are really all about.
Exactly. The lefties eventually get around to the “anyone who disagrees with me must just be stupid” argument, even when it’s clear they have no idea what they’re talking about.
Fortunately, I think the left-wingers’ condescending attitudes, not just towards conservatives but towards those from the Heartland or rural, small-town, exurban America in general, are pushing more working-class Dems and moderates towards us. People who clearly see themselves as the all-knowing, always right elite are not going to be for the little guy controlling his own destiny. More voters are realizing this.
They never have a rebuttal other than that. This discourse is not healthy for a society and that is putting it mildly.
