The Leftist was foolish, then the Trump mom was foolish to go on social media.
Seems like social media is what really escalated the whole foolish affair.

I don’t understand the whole need to go on social media and bare all their open nerves that some people cannot seem to resist.

It’s some kind of compulsive disorder.

I’l vent my silly comments here on freerepublic because it fullfills a certain compulsion but, it’s safe to just walk away because it’s anonymous.

I don’t either. Social media can give anyone a platform and for some reason some folks think we actually want to hear them. In days past you had to drag your soap box down to the town square. Now you can just sit on your butt and type away. Like me.

I thought FR was anonymous. Then someone I know (not a conservative, just stumbled upon a local topic on this site) figured out who I was by my comments (not nasty or hateful, just specific) and I had hell to pay in my personal life.

I’m much more careful now.
