A MISTAKE is when you forget to carry over the “1” in a three column arithmetic addition problem. Harassing 14-year old girls is NOT a mistake - it is a moral failing for which you deserve the community’s strongest scorn and condemnation.
The harassing wasn't her mistake that she was apologizing for; THAT mistake was indulging her moral failings in front of witnesses, with cellphones.
The only thing she is sorry about is the self agravated grief that followed.
