Somebody I know has a Rossi .38/.357 in SS to go with their Dan Wesson 6” vent rib .38/.357 pistol. That person wishes they had gotten the entire pistol pack way back when. The Rossi seems to be capable enough.

I own a Rossi in .357 magnum and oh, my, is it ever fun! It’s a small gun, very handy. Only problem is that the loading gate is small, and you have to prod the cartridge into place with your little finger from time to time. Well, there is one other problem: shooting the thing is like eating salty potato chips. Try to stop.

I picked up a Rossi at an auction, smooth action. Watch out for the hot brass, top ejection!! Fun gun to go with my Colt Python, 38/357 guns.

I have a Rossi like that - it’s really too small and light to be comfortable with the .357 rounds but is fun with the 38 Special rounds - not sure I would do it again as it is really a “niche” gun w/o any true purpose - not a good choice for hunting, but if one is riding the range and there’s lots of coyotes around it might be useful by being adequate and not cumbersome....
