“I’m somewhat of a Geezergamer, but never online.”

Good for you! You should give it a whirl sometime though. Communities can be great, and MMOs offer more puzzle solving, team based things that can be a lot of fun. I’ve been gaming for nearly half a century now; longer if you count chess. Keeps the brain agile.

VR will come. It is a matter of time. It will be expensive too. Some good games will sort of transport you already, but true VR will be incredible. The military will have it first, sure as kreigspiel.

Obstreperous, yes, it’s a lovely word and a fun way to live the left needs to run face first into it more often.

Game on!

I prolly will one-of-these-days now that we live in a place with decent internet speed. I hung around on the "Geezergamer" site a few years ago to see what that was about. All I've ever heard was stories about annoying little game brats with nothing better to do than anonymously scream in their mics at everybody. The guys on the site were talking about exclusive groups of some sort where there was relief from such jackassery. But I elected for the KISS principle and stuck with solo. Crap, I ran RSV2 Terrorist Hunt for damn near 4 years straight in between "real world" activities.

Mostly mess with shooters like COD, Gears and Rainbow Six/Clancy series. Tried Fallout 3 and just couldn't get into it. Not enough shooting. Hehehe. d;^)
