No. I just served with a lot of immigrants and they were good Marines. A few were not but no more on average than with citizen Marines and I would say less on average were $hitbirds.

If you were to try and break a contract with the military there would be repercussions directed at you but the military can cancel them at will.

In WWII we let Hitler's nephew serve.

It wasn't Hitler's nephew.

Werner Goering is the person you are thinking of. He believed himself to be the nephew of Hermann Goering. His Wikipedia biography says this was disproven in 2010--genealogical research showed that they were not related. He was born in 1924--the Wikipedia article does not give a date of death.
