I used to go to the NYT and then read the general comments. It’s getting harder to do that. They have editor chosen comments and favorite comments but when you get to the general, you get a few normal people. Of course they all use the NYT, which is a shame. There are some more family or conservative review sites, don’t know them off hand. I like wide variety reviews like amazon. Where you can throw out the over the top ones on either side.
