The novel is set in the year 1984 when most of the world population have become victims of perpetual war, omnipresent government surveillance and public manipulation.

Not to be a party pooper but this is just one more example of what I was talking about the other day, how the commie company Google violates copyright law by the millions every day through Youtube. How do they get away with this?

Yeah maybe but I doubt it. People upload so much copyrighted material on that thing it’s insane amd Google is never held accountable. They pretty much destroyed the music industry, people just download an album for free now off Youtube, there’s Youtube to MP3 converter websites all over the place

I’ve never listened to an audiobook because I am a life-long bibliophile and voracious reader. There’s just something about having a physical book in my hands and comprehending everything the author writes that is soul-satisfying.
