I already did--I did it before I responded to you to be sure it could be done. IT took me all of thirty seconds to remap those keys. Within XFCE: Choose Settings Settings Manager Keyboard Application Shortcuts Add (This is at the bottom of the list) Within the Command: window, type in the command you want to shortcut (ctrl-c, etc. Actually spell it out, don't just hit ctrl-c) Click OK hit CapsLock You're done Thanks! I hope to try this next time I install XFCE. FR shows itself superior to the many Linux forums I asked about this, and actually spelling it out vs just hitting ctrl-c must be a needful qualifier. Does this retain the setting past sessions?
